The pre-school is managed by a team of volunteers who are elected at the A.G.M. each Autumn. The committee members are mainly, but not necessarily wholly, parents of pre-school children. From the elected members, three are then nominated for the posts of chair, treasurer and secretary. As we are a registered charity, the committee members are also trustees of the charity. All committee members undertake the same DBS check as the staff. This is part of the way in which we safeguard our children. Without a committee, pre-school cannot continue to operate, so we actively encourage new members.
